Responsibilities include:

Greet customers professionally when they arrive and provide personalized assistance
Employ consultative selling techniques to build relationships with customers and provide them with expert guidance and support
Process sales transactions at the POS (point-of-sale) counter
Upselling items to customers based on the items they have chosen
Execute special orders for items that are not in stock or that we do not usually stock
Work with other stores and warehouses to locate items in an efficient manner
Merchandise placement, rotation, and pricing responsibilities to include stocking
Arrange special sales, clearance items, and impulse-buy products
Learn and adapt to the agricultural seasons and transition to the customers' needs
Maintain a clean and organized environment

Qualifications for the position include:

Computer proficient
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Positive attitude, with excellent customer service
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail and willingness to learn a large product base
Retail, hardware, or agriculture experience a huge plus
